Before our trip to PA, my mom made a whole list of things she wanted to do with the girls. Even with loads of gloomy, rainy days, we were able to fit almost all of it in! Thankfully, we were able to get out on the sunny days so the yucky days ended up feeling relaxing.
We heard about Edward’s Garden Center having animals for the kids so, since Myra loves animals, we knew it would be a fun afternoon for the girls. We were under the impression that it was a petting zoo so we just had to laugh when all of the signs said “Do not touch” and “Keep fingers out of cages!” Even though we didn’t get to pet any animals, we enjoyed walking around, looking at the animals, and enjoying the beauty of the day.
It was the most beautiful place to be on such a gorgeous day! I particularly enjoyed the vibrant flowers and interesting fountains. It was such a bummer to live so far away and not be able to take anything home with us. All I could do was imagine my dream garden! This is most definitely the place I would get all my supplies!
This peeing dog fountain made me laugh!
These miniature gardens were so adorable! I could picture my girls having a blast creating their own!
And, of course, Myra freaked out every time we walked past a statue. We had to steer clear of these!
Once again, it was a great day with my girls and my parents! We really were blessed with this vacation and I know my girls are so thankful that their grandparents made it extra special!
Where are some places you have ventured to this summer?
